MANHUNT is a Multi-Agency Tactical Training Exercise conducted in rugged, rural terrain. The training consists of three days of both lecture and hands on practical exercises, followed by an extensive two days Field Training Exercise
This course was originated in 1987 at Hendersonville, North Carolina, as a result of an apparent need for training in this segment of Law Enforcement, after personnel pursued an Armed Adversary for five consecutive days. The Armed Adversary seriously injured ten Officers. MANHUNT training is geared toward providing those tactical skills needed in order to operate successfully in rugged terrain against an Organized Armed Adversary.

The instructors have been selected based upon extensive experience in their
respective field, SWAT, and /or Military Special Operations, as well as the
ability to instruct fellow Law Enforcement /Military personnel.
